You've been holding it
together for a very long time.
You've been holding it
together for a
very long time.
You learned to perform. To produce. To keep moving. To smile when asked how you are and give the answer that keeps things simple. And it worked, until now.Somewhere underneath, something hasn't moved in a long time. A feeling you can't quite name. A version of yourself you can't quite reach anymore.The body doesn't hold tension because of weakness.It holds tension because it learned to, in environments that didn't allow for release. The nervous system adapted, tightened the throat, braced the hips, turned down the volume on feeling.The thing is that learned suppression doesn't turn itself off when the original environment changes.The body stores the emotions and is still waiting for the signal for when it's safe to put the guard down to truly let go.

Breath Stories is your
invitation to
let your body soften.
Breath Stories is
your invitation to
let your body soften.
A doorway into the parts of yourself you've been protecting. Into into what your body has been holding, maybe for decades.As we breathe together, we allow what has been stored to surface, and we observe ourselves witnessing without fixing.We co-create through breath, through stories, through presence, unconditionally.The breath is your guide. The sharing circles are where it lands. The stories from the breathing experiences holds the authenticity of what we co-create.Every week we breathe might be different and that is where things start to get interesting.
WHAT WE DO
This is Breath Stories
Breath Stories global community built around weekly, live breathwork sessions (online and in person), sharing circles that follows where we welcome whoever wants to share their experience, and the conversations that continue between sessions.No 5-day trauma resets. No 30 days nervous system optimization challenges. Not Wim Hof or intense breathing. Just slow, conscious breathing along honest, unconditional human presence.You show up exactly as you are. You breathe. Something moves, or it doesn't. There is no pressure to perform, and nothing to get right.After the breathing, we sit together. There's space to share your experience, in your own words.Nothing gets analysed, advised, or fixed. Just witnessed in presence.No experience needed. If you are breathing, you are ready.
This is for everyone at all levels.
We practice slow, conscious breathing, allowing your body to soften in its own time.
ABOUT
BREATHING INTO OUR PRESENCE
As we breathe, we celebrate what it feels like to be human.
Whatever is present, hiding or surfaces from within you today. Clarity, grief, numbness, anger, curiosity, resistance, emptiness.Breath Stories is the place where you can slowly and softly lean into what your body wants you to tell you, using the breath as your frequency.The breath has a way of showing us what the mind keeps missing.

FOUNDING STORY

I'm soon finished the ceremonial breathwork facilitator apprenticeship through Kim Kindersley's Heart of Breath (200H) and will be attending Evolution of Breath's Leadership Training (300H+) with Mike O'Meara with completion in Nov 2026.
WHY I CREATED BREATH STORIES
A space born from story.
Built for yours.
For years I did everything "right." Good degree. International career. Six figures, the kind of life that gets nods at dinner parties.But the suppression started long before any of that. I was around 12 when I first learned to put feelings away rather than let them be seen.By the time I was building a career, I wasn't hiding my emotions anymore, I'd genuinely lost access to them. I was living on autopilot, showing up, performing, delivering, smiling when asked how I was doing, giving the answer that kept the meeting moving.From the outside, nothing was wrong. I didn't have a word for that for a long time. Eventually I learned the word is suppression, and that suppression doesn't ask permission before it becomes the default setting.Breathwork is what cracked that open, in 2025. Not therapy, not yoga, not coaching, not trying harder to think my way through it. The breath allowed my body to do something my mind had been avoiding for almost 30 years.The deeper insight came in the sharing circles after breathing. The moment the breath quiets and someone says something out loud for the first time, and the room shifts. Nobody fixed anything. Nobody needed to.That's when I understood, no one is broken. Our bodies and nervous system have set up to protect ourselves from what we can't even name but is hiding deep within us. We've learned to keep performing in environments that never made room for the body to feel safe enough to soften.Breath Stories is that space. A place where you're met with presence, so your body has the chance to show you what it's been holding. I'm not here to tell you what that is, or what to do with it. That part isn't mine. That's your story, whether you choose to share it or not.Everyone has their own story, but we all share the same breath, which always leads us back to our hearts.It's breathwork. But really, it's heartwork.- Kris
A note on safety
Breath Stories is not a medical practice and does not replace professional medical care. The breathwork we use is not recommended for bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, acute heart conditions, epilepsy, or delicate pregnancy. If you are on strong medication or have a serious health condition, please consult your doctor before joining a session.If any of this applies to you, reach out before we breathe together. There are gentler breath patterns that may be more suitable, and we will find the right way to include you.
